Immigration

Backlogs in the Home Office have significantly impacted many individuals across the UK for a number of years. In particular, constituents are experiencing long delays receiving responses from the Home Office regarding BRP applications, visa applications and passport renewals.

Ongoing applications

If you are experiencing delays or any issues following an application to the Home Office for a visa, BRP card, passport or any other official document, please contact UK Visa and Immigration for assistance in the first instance. https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-inside-outside-uk

If you are a resident of the Slough constituency and have been in contact with the Home Office but you have not received a response for over 10 weeks, Tan and his team can contact the Home Office on your behalf to request an update on your application. Please be aware, that responses from the Home Office to Members of Parliament are taking approximately 3 months.

If you are dissatisfied with the service you have received from the Home Office and wish to file a complaint, you can find further details on the Government’s website here: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/home-office/about/complaints-procedure

New applications

If you require support with your application to the Home Office or to a foreign Government’s immigration authority, please contact a legal specialist. Tan is unable to provide legal advice on these matters as a Member of Parliament.

However, if you are a Slough Constituent and require a support letter from our office, to form part of your application, please get in touch with our office with a copy of the sponsor letter the following details:
