After some journalists reported being barred from a briefing given by the Government an Urgent Question was raised in the House of Commons. I questioned the Cabinet Minister on how this was allowed to happen.

A free press is integral to democracy.

So why is this Government trying to emulate President Trump and bar journalists from briefings?
