It was wonderful to meet with Year 5 children from Khalsa Primary School to discuss the important and pressing issue of plastic pollution and climate change. I was really impressed with their research, letters and rap showing the impact of plastic on our environment.

After recently voting to declare an environment and climate emergency I appreciate the importance of doing all we can to reduce our impact on our environment and will continue to raise this issue in Parliament.
