It was wonderful to meet with constituent and academic criminologist Sarah Smart in Parliament to discuss how the justice system impacts on women.

Through her work with local women’s centres, Sarah highlighted the importance of adequate funding for these establishments so they can continue their excellent work in supporting thousands of women across the country, something which I wholeheartedly support.
